Blatant abuse of stock images
Ok, there where cute at first. But I'm really starting to get tired of the blatant over usage of stock images to represent a company. Am I the only one getting upset here? Blame the above photo for pushing me over the edge. It came in an email regarding their training seminar for their excellent product. But now I'm seriously thinking this company might have a few screws loose for letting their employees jumping around like they just bought a Toyota.
I was reminded that this practice has been in place long before the Internet. I mean, Toyota commercials man! But the whole idea of trying to make a company look cooler or bigger then they are with Stock photos is just wrong. This is the one my previous company used to represent our small development team....and I don't recall a cute girl with glasses working for us. That is a girl, right?
This had me looking around to see if others are upset about this. Not a whole lot of info on this subject, so there might be an opportunity niche here to make fun of this subject on a regular basis. But I did find a hilarious read dedicated to one man's mission to track down the girl of his dreams that he kept seeing in spam ads, titled Unsolicited Commercial Love Story.
And it appears that even Microsoft is guilty of abusing this practice. Not only does the person not exist, neither does the story of a person switching from Apple to Windows.
Shame Shame

Tell ya wot, pardner. I catch my employees hoppin' around like a bunch o' Kansas City Light-In-The-Loaferites like these dadburned flamers here and it's mandatory drug testing for the whole durned lot of 'em. These folks need to jes' step away from the coke bowl.
