Flicker Web 2.0 apps

Captioner imaged modeled by NM

Flicker has released an API toolset to allow developers to start building some sweet web 2.0 apps that interface with their huge database of Photos. As you can tell, I like the captioner application. But there are so many other cool apps that I don't have time to go into. But Wired Magazine does a great job introducing the API and sample applications.

I see the Spell with Flicker to be a perfect tool to spell out email addresses for blog friendly posting. I used my email as an example below and I doubt any spam bot will ever extract it. But it's a bit creepy, don't you think? I get the feeling it's trying to abort the A.

I don't know which is creepier, the A with the coat hanger or that picture of me modelling my cranium prophlactic.
